What your tween daughter should be wearing
It is not an easy task to pick outfits for your tween daughter. If this word is Greek for you, let me explain. The term “tween” describes a preteen girl aged 9 through 14. Those found within this age group are not grown up enough to be considered teenagers, and matured enough to not have to wear that kiddish stuff. If you though that teenagers are tough, tweens will definitely give you a run for your money!
Picking tween girls clothing is one of the worst tasks that I have ever had on my hands. The list of what’s not cool is longer than my combined monthly bills! A friend with a teenage daughter came to my rescue. Clothing for tween girls should be stylish and yet comfy. It is an age where they grow practically every week and you need to think practically, financially and also make sure that your little darling is happy. Naturally, you need to pick dresses and outfits as per occasion.
1. To school
Nothing works better than jeans when it comes to picking outfits for school. The best part is you can pick a slightly bigger size (you know, to grow into) and have your tween wear it with a stylish belt. Miss Me girls jeans are a great tween brand, cool and comfortable. Finished with embellished pockets for that funky touch, the jeans have a dark wash to make them wearable with most tees and tops.2. Birthday parties
The list of party invitations will be endless if your girl is a little “princess.” And though you dread the idea of your little having her first dance, helping your daughter choose her perfect outfit will really let her know that you’re there for her. If you’re aiding her in her quest for the right dress, try My Michelle dresses, which are perfect for tween girls. The sleeveless mesh dress in fuchsia is just adorable. It features a flower-detailed waist and a satin border hem. It is chic and vibrant and so wearable for their age.3. Weekend wear
Tween girls are also brand-conscious, and yes, they hate wearing their sisters’ hand-me-downs. You can pick some cool track pants and sweatshirts in funky colors. Fuchsia, pink and red are hot favorite. Look out for Juicy Couture, girls love ‘em. You can pick a longer pant length and sew it neatly at the hem so you worry less about them outgrowing their clothes!

Picking the right baby shower centerpiece
The baby shower is one of the most important experiences for a mother-to-be. She’s surrounded by her closest family and friends, they give her much needed advice about her newborn, and she gets a ton of cool gifts for the baby. Whoever is in charge of throwing the baby shower is also in charge of the baby shower decorating. One of the biggest decorations is the baby shower centerpiece, and here’s some tips on how to pick the best one for you!
- To Eat Or Not To Eat: The first thing you need to realize is if you want an edible baby shower centerpiece or not. The big dilemma is that the non-edible centerpiece can be saved as a memento, while the edible one cannot. However, if you take a few decent pictures, the edible one can live on well after it has been devoured. In that case, I’d recommend an edible baby shower centerpiece.
- Boy Or Girl: Obviously the gender of the baby will have the biggest impact on which baby shower centerpiece you get, and there are three (yes three, that is not a typo) options. A centerpiece for boys, a centerpiece for girls….or a gender neutral baby shower centerpiece for those who are keeping their baby’s gender a surprise. For example, something blue or having a sports theme might be best for a boy, while something pink or having a princess theme might be best for a girl. For the gender neutral baby shower centerpiece, brown, white, yellow, and orange are good colors to go with. You could also keep a theme by choosing a Baby Seuss Photo Centerpiece!

Baby converse are cute and practical
When purchasing shoes for your toddler, you have to be careful as unlike adults, toddlers cannot really express their comfort level with the shoes. Their skin and feet might not be comfortable in certain pair of shoes and they will not be able to express it. Therefore it is the responsibility of the parent to choose a pair of shoes that is comfortable for their feet, breathable for their skin and practical to meet their specific needs. Since your tiny one is learning to walk and doesn’t has a good grip, make sure the sole has good gripping quality to avoid your kid from slipping.
But it is not easy for parents to choose from the range of brands that offer baby shoes in multitude of styles, patterns, colors and texture. One recommended choice is converse sneakers. They are practical, comfortable and affordable. Converse shoes are known for their quality shoe wear as seen in their innovative line of baby shoes. From the all-star collection to baby sneakers, there are multitude of styles, sizes and colors designed to meet up your little one’s specific needs. Here is how you choose one.Your choice of baby converse will depend on what your child needs. Greater support at ankles is required by older babies who are learning to stand and walk to sustain their weight. Also shoes with non-slip bottoms will be needed for their protection while they walk. You can go for high top canvas sneakers as they offer you a platter full of these qualities.
On the other hand, younger babies would just need a shoe type that can possibly keep their small feet comfortable and warm. These babies are sure to stay comfy in soft, flexible material that will give their little feet and toes ample room to wiggle.
Baby converse sneakers offer all these features and come in trendy canvas designs and lace up ties. A variety of sizes, colors and designs will make it easy to for you to coordinate your baby’s shoe wear with almost all outfits for a more stylish appearance.
