What your tween daughter should be wearing

My Michelle dresses, miss me girls jeans, tween girls clothing
It is not an easy task to pick outfits for your tween daughter. If this word is Greek for you, let me explain. The term “tween” describes a preteen girl aged 9 through 14. Those found within this age group are not grown up enough to be considered teenagers, and matured enough to not have to wear that kiddish stuff. If you though that teenagers are tough, tweens will definitely give you a run for your money!

Picking tween girls clothing is one of the worst tasks that I have ever had on my hands. The list of what’s not cool is longer than my combined monthly bills! A friend with a teenage daughter came to my rescue. Clothing for tween girls should be stylish and yet comfy. It is an age where they grow practically every week and you need to think practically, financially and also make sure that your little darling is happy. Naturally, you need to pick dresses and outfits as per occasion.

1. To school

Nothing works better than jeans when it comes to picking outfits for school. The best part is you can pick a slightly bigger size (you know, to grow into) and have your tween wear it with a stylish belt. Miss Me girls jeans are a great tween brand, cool and comfortable. Finished with embellished pockets for that funky touch, the jeans have a dark wash to make them wearable with most tees and tops.

2. Birthday parties

The list of party invitations will be endless if your girl is a little “princess.” And though you dread the idea of your little having her first dance, helping your daughter choose her perfect outfit will really let her know that you’re there for her. If you’re aiding her in her quest for the right dress, try My Michelle dresses, which are perfect for tween girls. The sleeveless mesh dress in fuchsia is just adorable. It features a flower-detailed waist and a satin border hem. It is chic and vibrant and so wearable for their age.

3. Weekend wear

Tween girls are also brand-conscious, and yes, they hate wearing their sisters’ hand-me-downs. You can pick some cool track pants and sweatshirts in funky colors. Fuchsia, pink and red are hot favorite. Look out for Juicy Couture, girls love ‘em. You can pick a longer pant length and sew it neatly at the hem so you worry less about them outgrowing their clothes!
