Four ways to wear a vest this fall

One of the must have wardrobe items has made a comeback this fall and that is the women’s vest tops. It is a versatile piece that can be worn for different occasions and in different ways. Celebrities such as Kim Kardashian and Lindsey Lohan have been seen sporting long casual cotton vests, while Fergie and Jennifer Lopez have opted for the fitted dressy version. Here are four different ways you can incorporate vests into your fall wardrobe.

1. Long cascading vest

If you are heading out for a casual dinner with friends or just running errands, a long vest is an easy yet casual option. It can be thrown over a t-shirt or tank top and would look great paired with skinny jeans and flats.

2. Fitted dress-up vest

The same old blazer and trouser routine can really make your work place style dull. Change it up and try a dark fitted vest over a white blouse and don’t forget to show off some accessories like a simple gold bracelet or long necklace.

3. Quilted or fleece vest

Instead of putting on a bulky and unflattering hooded sweater this fall, try a quilted or fleece vest. They keep you warm, while giving you that sporty-chic style when you’re on your way to pick up the kids or heading to the gym.

4. Faux fur vest

For a chic and sexy dressed up look, try a faux fur vest for you next date night or girl’s night out. Wear it with heeled boots, dark skinny jeans and a black or brown cotton top underneath.
