How to do summer business casual right

If you are looking for a way to stay cool while working in the office this summer, you’ve come to the right place since summer business wear requires a bit of layering and ingenuity.
The sleeveless dress
It’s quite common to want to wear clothes that allow your body to stay cool and dry off quickly after being in the sun. A shift dress is perfect for this. Shift dresses are usually straight, simple and more importantly, sleeveless. If a shift dress is a bit too plain for your style, try a Nine West sleeveless dress. Whichever dress you pick, pair it with a chic blazer that will allow you to have coverage in the office if you happen to end up under the air conditioning.

The chic blazer or cardigan
As mentioned before, the blazer allows you to add coverage in the office for whatever sleeveless top or dress you wear.  A blazer top also covers up any spaghetti straps or tank tops you may be wearing to save yourself from the hot summer heat. A cardigan is a nice informal way of doing that too plus it allows you to cover up any cleavage that comes from wearing summer-friendly tops.
Use prints and colors
Pair up traditional solid-colored business attire with colorful summer prints. Pair up a traditional khaki pencil skirt with an aqua blue top or a pair of black slacks with a colorful print summer blouse and a blazer. When using prints don’t use a print with too many colors or a print that is too wild. Stick to flattering shades and prints that “wow” without overwhelming your outfit or others.
Keep these tips in mind and you’ll not only be cool this summer, you’ll look cool too.
