Cute pieces for your morning run

There’s nothing like an early morning run to perk up your metabolism and give the body a much needed boost. I love going for outdoor runs because I enjoy the fresh air and seeing all that greenery around.
The autumn and spring months are best for morning jogs because the weather is rather pleasant. But during summers, I do tend to perspire a lot. So, I prefer wearing jogging suits or track pants that are light weight and sweat absorbent.

Women’s lightweight hoodies are a great pick for these morning runs. The hoodies protect you from sudden cold breezes and that occasional shower. Along with being light weight, they are stylish too. Of course, once in a while I do use them if I want to avoid someone on the run.
You can pick hoodies in either jacket or t-shirt styles. I prefer the front open jacket ones because if I am feeling too warm, I can always tie the jacket around my waist.
During summer months I prefer wearing shorts as they give my legs more room to breathe. But I don’t mind wearing capris or slightly loose tracks. Again, pure cotton garments work better than mixed or polyester one’s as they are skin-friendly and absorbs sweat.
Apart from the basic jogging outfit, there are some other factors to keep in mind when going for morning jogs or run-
  • Use shock absorbent shoes and socks
  • Carry a small napkin or handkerchief in your pocket if you perspire a lot
  • Light colors like baby pinks, blues, whites, etc. look soothing during those hot months. Save the reds and maroons suits for the colder season
