It’s always easy to select your going out attire in the warmer months. Skirts, dresses, shorts and tank tops are all comfortable in the spring and summer. But what in the world do you wear when you go out to drink and dance with your friends in cooler months? I have had trouble with this question myself. I understand the dilemma, you want to look cute, but at the same time feel comfortable with the weather.I have found that sequin tops are a great solution to dressing up in the fall and winter. I like that fact that you can get a long sleeved or three quarters sleeve sequin top, and it still looks like you are dressed up. Obviously if you wore a long sleeved cotton t-shirt you might feel like you aren’t dressed up enough. Sequins really add sparkle and pizazz to your going-out outfit.
If you don’t love sequin tops, you don’t have to go all out. Why not try a black top with just a few touches of sequins on the sleeves? Or there are some patterned tops that have sequin details here and there. You should always wear an outfit that you like and feel confident in. If you don’t, it will be hard for you to have a good time.
So what do you wear with a sequin top in the cooler months? My favorite is a comfortable pair of dark wash jeans. If you are going out where the dress code is no jeans, the right pair of trendy tights, a skirt and cute pumps could work too.
