What to wear on a Corduroy brown pant

Brown corduroy pants are a wardrobe staple for most men. Be it a shade of light or dark brown, corduroys reflect elegance and style without trying too hard. It is a refreshing change from the restrictive formals and definitely classier than your chinos.

You can either dress up or dress down brown corduroy. The deep rich color of Calvin Klein corduroys brown is one of my favorites. The versatile shade is wearable all year round and you can combine it with light or dark colored shirts depending on the occasion and of course the weather.

If you are looking for something that reflects a suave attitude with minimal efforts, opt for a classic white shirt. It may be white linen with folded sleeves for a casual get together or a crisp white button down for a formal occasion. This is one of the most common combination that you cannot go wrong with.
Black is another safe color but it can be a bit boring at times. Also, deep browns with black during the warmer months make you feel stuffy too. However, if you want to try out some hues you can opt for a florescent pink or tomato red shirt; think Ross from the sitcom “Friends”.
You can experiment with a classic polo neck in hues of beige or white. Contrasting shades of orange with brown or cream stripes adds some color to your wardrobe. Avoid round necks with corduroys as they are really understate this classy and wearable style.
