Choosing shoes for petite women

Hey, it doesn’t matter whether you’re petite or broad-built. It is important that you learn to dress right and make the best of what you’ve got. I’m tall and rather big made and I’ve always thought it would be cool to be small and petite. But I’ve made the best of myself and manage to look good. Yes, choosing the right shoes and clothes could be a challenge at times but it’s possible. Your clothes and shoes should suit who you are.  Take a look at some shoes that really suit petite women:

Calving Klein suede platform
calvin klein suede platformCalvin Klein’s suede platform gives an elongated silhouette and has a metallic accented vamp that adds oodles of height to your legs. These classic shoes are trendy to go with any of your outfits like formal skirts, dresses and trousers/jeans. If your trousers are well-fitting and straight-legged, they can instantly make you look taller. And team it with a V-necked top in the same color so you look taller.
Stuart Weitzman pumps
Pumps like Stuart Weitzman’s pumps add inches to your height and looks very elegant. The supple kidskin leather uppers with the pointed toe makes you appear taller than you really are. Daisy pumps with lightly padded leather lining and 3-31/2” heels when worn with high-waist, figure-hugging trousers can make you look lean and tall. What you must remember is that your clothes must be well-fitting. Loose, ill-fitting clothes will make you look bulky.
Manolo Blannik slingbacks
Slingbacks, especially if they’re close to your skin tone can make your legs look longer. Like the Manolo Blahnik suede slingbacks that are slim with shiny heels. With its 2 3/4” heels, the sandals with suede uppers and leather lining and sole will look great as the sandals are not heavy or clunky. They’ll look light on your feet and the narrow straps will be in proportion for petites.
Remember to dress right. Go with vertical stripes on clothes or try to stick to one color without breaking the effect with a belt to look taller. Stick to straight, narrow cuts with trousers and make sure your heels are not too tall so it looks proportionate to your body.
