Ladies Slippers
If your husband is like mine, he probably keeps the house really cold. I naturally have cold feet and walk around the house freezing in the winter. Waking up in the morning and feeling the frigid tile floor on my bare feet is the worst. That's why ladies slippers are an absolute must for me.
Ladies slippers are perfect because you can wear them around the house. A common trend now is to take off your shoes when in the house. If this is the case in your home, slippers are perfect because they are an indoor shoe. If you don't ever wear them outside they will keep the floor clean and your feet nice and toasty. Slippers are simple and easy to wear because they easily slip on or off. So when you have to make the quick trip outside to get the mail or go to the store, you don't have to hassle with undoing laces.
Ladies slippers come in many different colors and styles. Some cover your whole foot while others are open toed. You can buy pink leopard skin slide, sheepskin clog or hip print mule. So walk around the house with cosy feet that look stylish and cute.
There are many different types of ladies slippers. There are the typical styles that include mules, moccasins, scuff, clogs, slides and sock slippers. Mules and scuffs slip on and off easily and can be open-toed. Mules may also have a thicker heel than other ladies slippers. Clogs and moccasins look like your traditional outdoor ones. They commonly have wool or fleece lining that add comfort and warmth. Boot styles or "booties", as some may call them, slide over your whole foot. They aren't as easy to slip on or off but keep your feet really warm. Slipper socks and flip-flop styles are becoming very popular. They come in many bright colors and prints.
Ladies slippers can also have soft or hard soles, depending on the use. Some don't worry about wearing shoes inside so a harder soled slipper would be great for going out on the deck to have your morning hot cocoa. You will still have toasty feet out in the brisk air.
